Kittens Tangled (or Tied up) in Fishing Wire!

Poor little Sinbad, his little front leg had lost all circulation, there was no saving it.
On Monday July 26th, he had to have the leg amputated.    Both kittens are eating
well and progressing satisfactorily, they purr and play and are happy, they are
a joy to watch every day.   Animal Care and Control are investigating the
circumstances of how they became tied up, it is not believed that they could
have wrapped wire around their two front legs by themselves.  We will post
information on their findings as soon as we know more.    A reward fund is                 
being set up now to see if more information will be provided??

August 1st, we have hoped and prayed that the front leg of Sailor could be saved
by constant massaging and care, but it is beginning to look as though we are losing
the battle.   A decision will be made by Dr. Tomes, this coming Wednesday if
he too will loose his leg, like his little brother.
